We fed swimming pigs, walked a couple of beaches and snorkeled Thunder Ball Grotto which was used as a set for several movies. It is a grotto that you have to go under a ledge to get into. Once inside the sun shines down through cracks in the top creating a beautiful cave.
Staniel Cay is so pretty, we may have to go back and spend more time there.
Today we sailed from Staniel Cay to Cave Cay. It was about 4.5 hours. Great sail over, but ended up at the marina due to the high winds and strong currents. Not any great anchoring spots that we could find.
We walked the beach and looked for shells, came back and took a long warm shower, did a couple of loads of laundry, had spaghetti for dinner with Eric & Debbie, and called my Mom & Dad.
We are the only two boats in the marina other than a couple of fishing boats that have been left here. There is a bay in front of the marina with a couple of beautiful beaches surrounding it.
Tomorrow afternoon our plan is to leave and head to Georgetown. Will probably get there Thursday morning. We'll hangout there until after Christmas and then we might actually back track in order to see some of the Islands and Cays that we missed along the way, trying to get to Georgetown for Christmas.
The water has been so clear and so blue, I just can't get enough of looking at it.
We thought about asking them if they wanted to trade...
